While the weight loss smoothie is just a little addition to this never dying industry, it has helped both the industry and the end user enormously. That’s not an easy thing to do when every once in a while there’s a new weight loss method being introduced to the market, be it via the billboards, newspaper ads, commercial breaks, brochures, internet, or anywhere else. But simply saying that smoothie is the upgrade of weight loss shakes won’t do justice at all. After all, it has developed to be child industry to the weight loss industry.
At first, people ‘intentionally’ starve themselves in order to lose weight. They cut on their meals to cut calorie intakes. That turned to be a failure. Not everyone can withstand the lack of calorie (as well as other nutrition) intake well. Mostly they become jittery and that didn’t affect just their bodies but their environment as well. Their health dropped, so did their productivity and emotion. ‘But losing weight requires sacrifices’, they reasoned.
So then the weight loss shakes were introduced. They were used as meal replacements so people don’t have to starve anymore. They’re simple to make at home at any time. They even contain fibers, protein, and important vitamins and minerals. The only downside is they are typically yucky. Again, people reasoned, ‘but losing weight requires sacrifices!’
Finally, weight loss smoothie takes the place of weight loss shakes. People couldn’t be happier! Why, people love the fact that they can use almost any fruit they want to so it does not only work great as a meal replacement; it is also yummy, cleansing and perfectly healthy, provided no extra sweeteners are added during the process as those sweeteners bring back another pile of calorie. Furthermore, it can be easily enhanced to power up its effect by adding other ingredients like low-fat yoghurt, flax seeds, or protein powder to thicken the smoothie, which means one will feel full faster and cut down the food cravings.
Now the weight loss process is much more durable and requires less ‘sacrifices’, weight loss industry gives raise to more hopes. Who can protest if he’s having breakfast with his favorite Banana Smoothie? After all, it is best to digest fruits during the morning, so why not make a smoothie out of them to ease things up? Another plus is this weight loss smoothie can also be consumed all day long once a month to once a week as a detoxification program to help colon cleaning. This means one can use it too for home detoxification even if he’s not on a weight loss diet.
In the end, it doesn’t matter if weight loss smoothie is just something the weight loss industry created to boost up the industry sales. For despite of its ‘weight loss’ title, one does not need to be in any weight loss related program to reap out the health benefits it offers such as digestion help or colon cleaning or fat cleaning from blood. If one knows his smoothie, he’ll be able to live healthier, overweight wise or not. Now who wouldn’t want a healthy life?
