Question by Lauren R: Exercise games for Wii and Wii fit?
I bought a Wii and a Wii fit for exercise. I’ve been using it a lot with good results. The only problem is that the Wii fit is starting to get boring. There are only a few aerobics games. I also have “My fitness coach” and like that. Are there any other games that take a lot of physical energy that would be good for weight loss?

We’ve been conditioned over the years to believe that the best way to lose weight is to sweat it off with rigorous exercise at the gym, and be mindful of what we eat. If that were entirely correct, we wouldn’t be tipping the scales of obesity as 45 million people spend more than billion annually on gym memberships, a number that’s doubled over the past 20 years. The problem lies with the fact that human metabolism is highly efficient, and any excess calories are immediately stored as fat.
More Exercise Leads to More Eating

Now that you have finally decided that you want to take action and do something about those few extra pounds that you have been carrying around, it is time to look into a weight loss exercise program. While dieting with food is excellent, you need to also have a weight loss exercise program in place that you actively take part in so that you do not gain the lost weight back. Also, it is a great way to help make sure that you remain healthy and the exercise will help make sure that you are completely fit.

To some people, their weight can be a sensitive issue, especially to those who suffer from obesity. Too much weight cannot only damage your physical health, but your self-esteem as well. Some overweight people put on a brave face when confronted about their weight issues, trying to make everyone, including themselves, believe that being grossly out of shape is not a serious problem. Quite the opposite is true. Obesity can be life-threatening problem if left unsolved. Perhaps they have tried losing some weight but were unsuccessful, so giving up was the only option they had left.
Question by : I need a diet / exercise plan that people have had good experiences with…?
I don’t want to starve myself on a diet but I want to do one that is balanced enough to work. I don’t eat junk food, drink pop, or eat a ton of processed foods (my diet has been mostly organic when possible for the past several months) which is why I am needing extra help getting this weight off. I’ve been bigger since I was young and I’m done dealing with it. I lost 40 pounds on the atkins a few years ago but I mostly gained it back, so I would like to know if there any diets that actually work out there. My goal is to lose 50 pounds by the end of the year. I don’t really know a specific way to lose weight through exercise, I don’t mind going to the gym everyday I just want to know what a good plan is to follow while I’m there. Right now I’ve been doing the “weight loss” option on the tredmil (makes your heart rate fluctuate a lot) and it has given me ok results but I would like something with a little more results. Any advice?
