A common misunderstanding in the weight loss industry is that reducing or cutting out fat intake will automatically reduce weight and fat. In fact, reducing fats probably means that an increase in food consumption will be in order, as it contains somewhere in the region of twice the amount of calories when compared with the likes of carbohydrates. This is an extremely bad way to think, as it will most likely lead to individuals consuming more than their average daily intake of carbohydrate. This in turn can actually lead to putting on weight, as excess carbohydrate will be stored as fat!

I have the “pregnant belly” still after 3yrs and I want to get rid of that first so do I do ab workouts for that or do I need to do a combination of weight lifting/cardio/and ab workouts. How long should I do this a day? What would be the best way to cut the fat with fast results? I already switched my diet to fruits and veggies and mostly chicken is that good? How many minutes should I do weight lifting a day? How many minutes should I ride my stationary bike for? How many minutes should I do ab workouts? How many calories should I burn a day to be 30lbs lighter by august?

Every day I get questions about what the best way to get six pack abs is, because they are struggling with a little bit of belly fat on top of their abs. And I always say, the best ab workout is not do to a bunch of ab exercises, like you might think. It has been generally viewed that the less calories that you consumed, the more weight you will lose. In fact, if your caloric output is far more than your calorie intakes, then you will be losing weight fast. This is what most of us will think. But is the true? In reality, this is not.
It is not a good idea if you cut your calories intake drastically. If you do your research around, you’ll notice that the so called “extremely low-calorie diets” is not something new. They have been in existence for long. However, it is noted that all these diets do not lead to long-term weight loss.
