Question by Rachel: Weight loss and dieting question?
I understand the whole “burn off more calories than you consume”, but does that mean fat calories? Or calories in General? For instance, say you eat 500 calories of fruit and vegetables, would you gain weight if you didn’t work out? Will you gain weight at all from just eating healthy and not working out? Also, say you eat 500 calories of healthy things, and you burn off 600 while working out of some sort, will that mean you lose 100 calories of fat? To me, I would think not to eat anything except fruits and vegetables, or nothing at all, and then work out, so you can burn off the fat from your body. I’m really confused as to how the whole “burning calories” thing works. If anyone could explain, please let me know! Thanks so much :]

Question by : HELP WITH WEIGHT LOSS?
So I’m 15 years old, 5 foot 6, and 10 stone 9. In a period of 6 weeks I want to lose a reasonably noticable amount of weight.
If I eat 1200 calories a day, and build up my muscles with sit ups for upper abs, squats for thighs and legs, crunches for the lower abs, jumping jacks for overall fat burn, and pelvic raises for my butt, will there be a noticable difference? Like when people see me will they be like “ahh she’s lost weight?”
