well im 16 and ive been working out for 5 months and lost 70lbs so far im down to 249 lbs my peak weight was 319 i mean i still have a stomach i want to lose some of it like muscle wise i dont know wat to really do i want to make it tighter than it drooping down lol im about 60% muscle, 40% fat ive lose alot of fat but want to get tuned more i run for 20-25 minutes and burn 300 calories, i walk 2 miles and i do “some weights” not alot tho so tell me what the best would be, ty

whts the best workout to burn fat? (i am at school from 7-3 on all week days and there is no gym in the town i live in…so going to a gym is not the answer)……i eat lunch at school everyday….it is not the helathiest food. wht should i bring for lunch? how many calories should i eat a day? how many calories should i burn a day? how much weight would i have to lose to be “average weight” and finally how much time will it take to lose the wight?

“A calorie is a measure of energy. There really isn’t such a thing as a “fat calorie”.

Carbohydrates and protein are about 4 calories/gram and fat is 9 calories/gram. So fat is a lot more calorie-dense.

But your body burns any kind of calorie the same way. You could technically live on a diet of all fat and not gain weight if you didn’t exceed the amount of calories you need. It wouldn’t be healthy for other reasons, but you mainly just need to watch your calorie intake if you’re watching your weight.”

Hello there. I am almost 15. I am 5’3″. I am 150 lbs but I used to weigh 22 lbs more. I am big boned. I can easily feel my ribs and sometimes they show slightly. However, my legs and arms are larger. And I have a bit of fat in my belly. People usually think I’m lighter than I am but… I’m not. My BMI is 26.6 and I want it to be 25. I want to lose 30 lbs though. I feel like 120 would be a good weight for me right now (setting it as my goal) as I have large bones. When I lost about 20 lbs last time and I tried to lose more… my exercise routine and everything did not work anymore so I went off my diet. People really like to say “you’d be so pretty if you just lose a little more weight” to me and it’s like… !!!!! If you know what I mean. What should I do now? It’s difficult for me to burn my calories as I don’t sweat a lot at all. I have school and I am very dedicated so is there anything you can suggest to me? I have an exercise bike at home. Please give me some advice.

So I’m 15 years old, 5 foot 6, and 10 stone 9. In a period of 6 weeks I want to lose a reasonably noticable amount of weight.

If I eat 1200 calories a day, and build up my muscles with sit ups for upper abs, squats for thighs and legs, crunches for the lower abs, jumping jacks for overall fat burn, and pelvic raises for my butt, will there be a noticable difference? Like when people see me will they be like “ahh she’s lost weight?”
