Question by : HELP WITH WEIGHT LOSS?
So I’m 15 years old, 5 foot 6, and 10 stone 9. In a period of 6 weeks I want to lose a reasonably noticable amount of weight.
If I eat 1200 calories a day, and build up my muscles with sit ups for upper abs, squats for thighs and legs, crunches for the lower abs, jumping jacks for overall fat burn, and pelvic raises for my butt, will there be a noticable difference? Like when people see me will they be like “ahh she’s lost weight?”
I’d really appreciate your answers thankyou x

So with your stats you body is going to burn about 1448 cals a day on its own with exercising 3 times a week that jumps up to 1991 cals a day. Science tells us that 1 pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories, so a daily calorie deficit of 500 should result in 1 pound per week fat loss.
So with a deficit of 791 cals each day you would definitiely loose weight but if you want to build up musscle at the same time you need to keep you caloric intake higher than that. Probably somewhere in the 1400 to 1900 range. Also you need to zig zag your calories or your body will quickly adjust to a low calorie intake.
1400 / day = 9800 / week. By zig zaging you get the same cals/week by adding on some days and taking off others.
Monday 1593 Cals
Using a pattern like this you are getting the same cals / week but keeping you body from adjusting.
Hope this helps
